we bring An expertly trained architectural eye and A warm approach.
With a background in architecture and more than two decades of experience in design, Founder + Creative Director Alex Thies brings a uniquely holistic perspective to every Adelyn Charles project.
Our approach begins with how a home needs to live—considering architecture, proportion, function and flow before layering in the materials, furnishings and details that make it personal. Alongside our teams in Southwest Florida and Nashville, Adelyn Charles Interiors works collaboratively with homeowners, architects and builders to carry that vision from the earliest plans through the final installation.
(our distinction)
(honored to be featured)
Our process is intentionally comprehensive, allowing decisions to happen in the right sequence and giving homeowners, builders and trades the information they need when they need it.
Luxury New Construction
For clients building a custom residence from the ground up, our most comprehensive service begins during the architectural phase.
We collaborate with your architect and builder to study the plans through the lens of how the home will actually be furnished, used and experienced.
From there, Adelyn Charles Interiors develops the interior in its entirety—including architectural details, cabinetry, lighting, plumbing, appliances, finishes, materials and furnishings.

Comprehensive Renovations
A significant renovation is an opportunity to reconsider how an existing home lives—not simply how it looks.
For full-home and substantial renovations, Adelyn Charles Interiors combines an architectural perspective with comprehensive interior design to rethink flow, function, interior details, cabinetry, materials, lighting and furnishings as one complete transformation.
We collaborate closely with your architect, contractor and trades throughout the process to ensure the finished home feels cohesive rather than pieced together over time.

Full-Service Furnishings
For select whole-home and multi-room projects where construction is complete, ACI develops a comprehensive furnishing concept that creates warmth, personality and cohesion throughout the home.
Our team manages furniture, rugs, decorative lighting, window treatments, artwork, accessories, custom pieces, procurement, delivery, installation and styling.
The result is a home that feels collected over time—not decorated all at once.

“My wife and I are not visionaries about home design and needed a lot of help with our dream home construction. We were so very lucky to engage Alex and her incredible team early in the process. They helped guide us through each step without judgment and provided the critical advice we needed. The end product is stunning and far surpasses our expectations. We enthusiastically recommend ACI’s services to any and all who are seeking world-class service and results!”
“Alex and her design team at Adelyn Charles were fantastic to work with. My wife and I have worked with other designers in the past, and ACI far outshined them. To say they went above and beyond is an understatement. They worked closely with our architect and GC and made our dream home come to life. Thank you, Alex and team! We look forward to more future projects with you!”
“Immensely creative with a laser-focused vision for every aspect of home design and decor - This is what we experienced when we hired Adelyn Charles to perform a complete "down to the studs" redesign of our penthouse beach condo. Alex and her warm and talented team really listened to what we thought we wanted and then improved upon it. They took our inspiration and made it come to life by creating a masterpiece for us and our family to share for many years to come.”
“Alex Thies and her talented staff helped us achieve the home of our dreams. With Alex involved from the moment we first put pen to paper and sketched out the vision of our future home, she worked closely with our Architect, Builder, and numerous craftsmen to create a beautiful coastal residence in Fort Lauderdale. Alex’s background in architecture and design, along with her lovely demeanor, is the perfect combination of what a true design professional is made of. We couldn’t be happier with our new home; thank you, Alex, and the staff.“
“Words cannot describe how grateful my husband and I are to Alex Thies and her team at Adelyn Charles Interiors. Alex worked with us for approximately two years on our new construction beach home and completed every phase, right up to furniture and accessory selection. She is the rare blend of an amazing designer, who also understands every step of the building process. She listened to our ideas and opinions, presented many beautiful, detailed options of her own, and with her creative and incredible eye for design, wove everything into a warm and inviting home that we love. Thank you, Alex and team, for an exceptional experience from beginning to end.”
"Adelyn Charles is a top notch organization. I have worked with them on both a small project, and a large project. Alex and her team were wonderful to work with. They have unique ideas that they bring to the table and they help you find your own personal style. I highly recommend them!"
"My husband and I recently built a home on Ft Myers Beach and we were lucky enough to be introduced to Adelyn Charles Interiors. Alex and Hillary were so warm and welcoming from the very first time we met them. We started right up with them and even Hurricane Ian couldn’t put a damper on their dedication to making sure our home would be beautiful! They took the time to get to know us and our style and it came through in every detail! Living in another state while going through this process could have been extremely stressful but we had complete faith in Alex, Hillary and their team and it was the best experience imaginable!! Our home is absolutely beautiful and we appreciate the amazing talent they brought to our project every day! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!"

"My husband and I recently built a home in Naples , Florida . After interviewing several local interior designers , we chose Adelyn Charles . We are so happy we did ! Alex and her team were very easy to work with . They were efficient and very timely with communication . They collaborated well with our builder and the rest of our Naples home construction team. Alex who is also an architect was a definite plus ! She used her expertise to create extraordinary reflective ceiling designs throughout the house . Her input was invaluable in the whole construction process ! Her team selected quality furniture and home decor that reflected my husband’s and my taste . They were good at making revisions and good at troubleshooting when necessary . The end product far exceeded our expectations ! As we consider building another home , we have already signed up Adelyn Charles !"
